WHAT DO YOUR PRICES START AT FOR A MADE TO MEASURE SUIT?

 

Our prices start from £950 for a house fabric, which also means we can guarantee a 6 week turnaround because they are always available. The prices vary depending on what fabric and details you choose.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FROM INITIAL CONSULTATION TO FINAL FITTING?

 

If you choose one of our house fabrics, the estimated delivery is 6 weeks. If you choose from our wider selection of beautiful Italian and British fabrics, it can take up to 8 weeks from consultation to delivery in store.

 

WHAT IS THE ‘MR. START’ STYLE?

           

The Mr. Start style is a contemporary and unique take on British tailoring.

Based on Philip Starts experience through the 60s, inspiration has been drawn from the style of dress in French films, juxtaposed by the happening place that is Shoreditch that we call home - “Everything just felt cool in the 60s – style, music, people, the atmosphere. I wanted to make a style that took me back, yet fitted in with Shoreditch”

 

HOW MANY TIMES WILL I NEED TO VISIT TO HAVE MY SUIT MADE?

 

You will have your first fitting, which will last approximately 1 hour. We will contact you as soon as it arrives in store to arrange your secondary fitting.

In your second fitting, we will fit the suit on you and have our tailor in Savile Row make any minor alterations where necessary.

We will let you know when your perfectly fitting suit returns to store, you can try it on one last time and we will make sure it is stitch perfect - then you can take it away with you!

 

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

 

You can either walk in or book an appointment with one of our made to measure specialists, we will talk you through the different fits and show you the different options available to you. Next, we will try you in a piece of our tailoring that best suits the look you want to achieve. Once we have taken your measurements and established the style and fit, we move on to look at the finer details.

We will show you our wide variety of beautiful fabrics, (if you have an idea of budget, it is an idea to let us know so that we can show you fabrics that keep within budget). We will select linings, buttons, stitch details and even monogramming if you so wish!

 

DO YOU HOLD SOME EXAMPLES OF YOUR TAILORING THAT I CAN TRY AND LOOK AT BEFORE I COMMIT TO THE SUIT?

 

Yes, we have a number of different styles, you can choose which style you feel works best for you. We also will be there to talk you through the styles and help you decipher which is most suitable for your shape and purpose.

 

DO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

 

We would advise you to book an appointment to ensure that one of our made to measure specialists is available to give you their time, but it is not essential, we do take walk in appointments.

 

CAN I TRACK MY MADE TO MEASURE SUIT WHEN IT IS BEING MADE?

 

We will be in contact with you at every stage, we will let you know when we have an estimated delivery and again when it arrives in store, and then we can book you in for a secondary fitting.

 

CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN LININGS AND DETAILS?

 

Yes absolutely! We have a wide range of linings and buttons for all occasions.

 

WHAT FABRICS ARE AVAILABLE AND WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?

 

We source our fabrics from the finest Italian and British Mills. We pride ourselves on our extensive range of the highest quality cloth.
