The Bower

When Mr Start first opened its doors in 2008 the Bower was sitting on the shelf. Originally conceived as a shirt to wear with slim tailoring it has become a firm favourite with customers who don’t want to wear a traditional shirt.

The collar is smaller and of soft construction with edge stitching to give a casual feel even when worn in a more formal way such as with a slim tie. But much like the Zetter, it is just as at home with no tie whether with an open neck or top button closed for a more contemporary style. Square soft cuff and mother of pearl buttons, minimal detail to keep the modern feel. The body is our usual, slim but not too slim, body shape.

The two-fold super 120 100% cotton easy care fabric is lightweight and comfortable. Available in bright white, it creates the perfect shirt for informal dressing.
