Denim Shirt

Denim is a great fabric to use for many different types of clothes, but the shirt is one of the most useful and adaptable ways to wear it. The fabric we use for our Ritz denim shirt is made in Italy by specialist weaver Alibiati and is 100% cotton. Made slim, but not too slim, the Ritz shirt has mother of pearl buttons and then is washed to a special recipe we have designed to improve the look and handle, so that it shows just the right amount of natural wear to enhance the look.

Wear in a casual way either with a pair of our Blake cotton trousers or with denim jeans for that fashionable double denim look. Put a crisp white Pima cotton t-shirt underneath the shirt to create a more layered or over-shirt look.

The shirt can also be semi formal; wear with our new soft tailored Navarre blazer and Shakespeare cotton trousers or with the Navarre matching trousers to create a whole outfit that would be great to be worn to a more formal event such as a wedding or a business meeting meeting for when you need to be on your top game. Add your favourite tie or one from our selection and it’s the height of formal casual.

As you wear and wash your shirt it will gradually and in time become lighter in colour, softer to the touch just like your favourite jeans but with a more regular fade. This is classic Mr Start.
