What the Hell is a Cocktail suit?

Well for me it’s a bit like evening wear for the day as well as the night - a sort of fluid formal.

Something to wear whenever you want to feel a little more special -  a night out with friends, a nice lunch, maybe a guest at a wedding, or just because you want to dress up.

Mine has just arrived.  I am going to wear it to lots of nights out.  Even if I feel a bit overdressed, I don’t mind.  I chose a darker fabric - a pure wool plain from a mill called Dugdale in Yorkshire, but with a little texture giving it a slightly more casual feel and I’ve put patch pockets on the jacket so it feels a little more day than night.

Yours could be dark and sophisticated or it could be bright and colourful, patterned or plain. Just as you like, that's the idea.
