Oasis at Wembley

Last month, Brix and I had the pleasure of seeing Oasis play at Wembley stadium. It really was such a sight to see so many fans all supporting the same team! Whether you are a die hard fan or not, it's hard not to get caught up in the cameraderie of it all. Everybody around me stood up and sang every song word for word, which across an entire stadium was quite powerful and moving.

It was such a wonderful atmosphere. I loved the fact that everyone was so friendly. The man next to me even offered to buy us drinks! I’d never met him before - a real show of friendship and community.

Our dear friend Andy Bell, is in the band for the tour, otherwise known for his band Ride, and for his many solo projects, GLOK being one. You can read all about the launch we went to for his last GLOK album here

The visuals were spectacular, and the Gallagher brothers were cool and collected and looked like they were having a great time.

We didn't buy any merch though, we left that to the other 89,998 fans who were there!

Meanwhile, I wore my Fratelli di Tallia Delfino brown and navy jacquard weave Pitfield made to measure suit, soft shouldered, with patch pockets to make it a touch more casual. Not casual enough that it would work with a neon bucket hat though.....
