Harland Miller at the Design Museum
This week, Brix and I had the pleasure of being invited to the opening of Harland Miller's amazing new show at the prestigious Design Museum. It was a wonderful evening attended by many friends old and new from the fashion and music industry (there was also an ex prime minister!)
One of the video pieces featured a track called L.A. by the Fall, written by Brix and Mark E Smith so we were honoured to attend.

Harland Miller at the Design Museum is a collection of brand new works created especially for this exhibition, and was a visual feast.
I love dressing up for the occasion, and did so by wearing my Double Breasted Brown Dugdale flannel made to measure suit with trainers and my trusted fine merino scarf to give a slightly casual slant on evening wear.

Born in Yorkshire, England in 1964, he studied at Chelsea School of Art, graduating in 1988 with an MA. He is an artist, but also a writer, and is well known for his work bridging these two fields, with much of his past work and the new work in this show referencing book covers. He is probably best known for his giant canvases of Penguin Book covers.

It's a free exhibition, over two sites at the Design Museum.
